Honey Brook PA was divided from Nantmeal Township in 1789 and named Waynesburg. Since 1789 the township continued to expand from its original 700 citizens. When our town first got its name there was some confusion because another town in western Pennsylvania was also named Waynesburg.  The town was officially changed to Honey Brook in the late 1800’s.  The oldest organization in Honey Brook Borough today is the United Methodist Church, which regularly gives back to our neighbors. The longest continuous business is W.L. White’s & Sons, which has been a guiding leader for all other businesses in town.

Today Honey Brook PA works together to make fun educational events, such as Honey Brook Harmony Day. This is a day where families come to enjoy fellowship with neighbors and other businesses. This year the theme is “A Stroll Back in Time.” There will be a strolling barber shop quartet and carnival games from the past. This will be a fun exciting event for everyone!

On September 24, 2016, we dedicated a memorial to the veterans of our town who served and protected us. With everyone’s help this event became a celebration to remember and a possible annual event. We are very thankful for the commitment. Our veterans and their families gave so much to our town over the years. Thank you veterans of Honey Brook!

We love our Honey Brook, PA community because they are always giving back.
